Re-leathering.

Bellows & Action Motors.

Here we can see a double rise, heavy pressure bellows. This had completely split along both end ribs. This bellows will now give another 50 years service, minimum.

When replacing the leather on the bellows only the finest un-tanned, soft white sheep skin will be used. This ensures many years of good service. It is not uncommon to last up to 50 years on bellows and internal pneumatic motors, while external leatherwork could have a life span of around 30 years.

Above action motors are waiting to be trimmed.

Left you can see the internal drawstop motors.
